Just wrapped my first nail appointment here and was very impressed. I just moved to Alameda from SF and was in dire need to find a new nail tech in the area. I looked up prices across 3 salons in Alameda and Me Nail quoted $60 for a regular mani pedi vs. $80 at the other two in the area. Just on price alone with the good reviews, I knew I had to give Me Nail a shot. I called on a Tuesday afternoon and was able to come in for an appointment 30 minutes later. The technique was very different than what I'm used to where the hands are soaked in water before the cubicles are cut. I called super last minute - 20 minutes until close. Figuring I'd give it a shot, I got lucky and let them know I'd be on the way. They don't do acrylic, so this is my first time with gel x but also my first time having nails in over a year. After showing the nail tech my inspo photo of the nails i had about a year and a half ago, she got the job done. Gel x is much faster than acrylic. I will be back. I came at the end of the day so it was quiet but it's a nice, intimate space once inside of the suite.

A true hidden gem in Alameda! My family and I wanted to get pedicures done for a last minute girls day. Because it was last minute, we didn't make any appointments but luckily, Me Nail Spa was able to accommodate us! Definitely call ahead as there's a code to get into the building which they'll text you when you create your appointment. Then, it's on the 2nd level all the way in the back. I didn't even realize there were so many beauty spots in this building off Park Street in Alameda. The salon isn't huge, but it's got enough space! 4 pedicure stations, 2-3 manicure stations, and it looks like an extra room for waxing/other beauty services.... read full review
