About BAMT Alameda Range
BAMT Alameda Range is a motorcycle training facility located near the Oakland/Berkeley area. They provide the waiver for the riding portion of the DMV's motorcycle licensing test to students who pass and complete the course within one week. The facility offers beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes, with higher standards for gear in the latter two. While beginners can use the provided motorcycles, helmets, and gloves, advanced students must bring their own bike. The instructors are highly praised for their expertise, professionalism, and focus on safety. They provide individual attention to students, even in full classes, and help build confidence in new riders, enabling them to purchase a bike and obtain their M1 license. The location is also notable for its proximity to the USS Hornet, offering students a chance to enjoy great views of the San Francisco peninsula with this retired aircraft carrier. The organization is top-notch, with genuine feedback and coursework designed to make students confident on a motorcycle. Many students, regardless of experience level, find the classes helpful and inspiring, with instructors like Eric, Ren, Anthony, and James demonstrating patience, humor, and good knowledge. Overall, BAMT Alameda Range provides a great learning experience for those seeking to start their motorcycle riding journey or improve their skills.
