I would not recommend this place for a kids cut for smaller kids. I don’t understand why put the service of a kids cut in your list of services if you don’t know how to deal with kids, but my experience felt like that. I brought my daughter here mostly because we needed a haircut and this place had openings on my day off. Jorge seemed very uncomfortable, even though my daughter (3,5 y.o.) was very quiet and tried her best to sit still. He made no effort to make her feel more comfortable, did not talk to her, or even smile once at her, and didn’t even introduce himself to her until I did it; he kept complaining she wasn’t sitting... read full review

This review is long overdue- I’ve been coming to Antidote for years! Jorge, Raquel, Jessica, and team have always made my visits fun and stress free. Jorge may have strong opinions, but he knows what he’s talking about and really cares about the end product. (He once talked my friend out of an undercut - he went out and got one anyway anddddd yeah, Jorge was right, it was not cute.) Jorge and Jessica were also there for me on my wedding day to do my hair and makeup and made me look and feel amazing. Afterwards, they safely took me from a dark brunette to a platinum blonde all while keeping my hair soft and (reasonably) healthy. I’ve done all the adventurous... read full review

I had great service with Jorge here who is very knowledgeable and communicative My hair is weird and thick/ wavy it's hard to find a good hair dresser who I trust with it - have resorted to cutting it myself in the past. BUT I was happy with my trim and wash here. Sadly I feel like the price I paid was a bit much for a wash, trim, and some hair product applied. $75 before tip. But TBH everything gives me sticker shock these days so maybe it's just me.
