Five stars! Highly recommend! I've been a client at Adria's office for some time now. The acupuncture and cupping really helps a lot with my shoulder stiffness and upper back pain. The treatments also help manage my chronic tinnitus issue and helps reduce my stress. Her rates are really reasonable too. Note that the current Google map shows her old office location on Central Ave, she has since moved to another spot in Alameda at the corner of Encinal and High Street.

Dr. Amenti is THE BEST! I started seeing her to help me with some Complex PTSD that had surfaced. Things had piled up emotionally due to some major trauma. She is amazing at calming down the nervous system, for real. Phew! Part of the trauma was extreme grief for an entire friend group of twenty years that I had left a few years prior. I would walk into her office and say..."please make me cry." Sure enough two to three hours after my treatment, I would be balling my eyes out for a good hour. DR. AMENTI IS OUTSTANDING. She takes the time to listen to you, and find out what is really going on with you. And her placement of the needles (for me at least) was so gentle that I don't think I felt a single one of them. (I did, however, feel the beneficial effects, physical and mental, for many days after my treatment.) Her healing space is located on Central Avenue, about a block from Park Street. The treatment room is comfortable, quiet, and darkened, and she has a massage table that permits you to lie face down and relax fully. I definitely plan to see the good doctor on a regular basis, and recommend that anyone plagued by pain or stress do the same!
