Wonderful organization bringing hope to those who most need it. Support them through monetary donations , shopping at Ploughshares and their Farmer's Market and volunteering.

Alameda Point Collaborative is an extremely unique community, in which several nonprofit organizations came together to conquer the affordable housing problem in the Bay Area for the most at-risk residents. They offer a variety of services to their residents, as well as hosting volunteer groups up to 350 people!

From Alameda Point Collaborative

Alameda Point Collaborative's mission is working to end homelessness by providing housing and services to create communities where formerly homeless families and individuals can flourish. APC is the largest supportive housing community in Alameda County. Besides Supportive Housing, we provide education and employment services to our residents, educational and social programs for children and youth, and three social enterprises for residents to get on-the-job training and skills to overcome barriers to employment.
