Our two sons (ages 8 and 12) have been attending Johnny Gyro Karate for the past 2 years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. They genuinely love coming to class!.

Johnny and Noel are outstanding instructors—patient, encouraging, and strong advocates of a growth mindset. They make learning karate fun while still emphasizing respect for others and themselves as well as the value of hard work. Our boys have progressed from white belt through yellow, purple, and orange, and are now working at the blue belt level, which has been incredibly motivating for them.

Johnny Gyro Karate has been such a wonderful experience for our family. Both of my children attend classes here and absolutely love it. Mr. and Mrs. Gyro are truly exceptional — they connect with the kids in a way that makes them feel seen, supported, and motivated, while still holding high expectations. The environment is positive, respectful, and confidence-building. We’ve seen real growth in our kids both on and off the mat. We’re so grateful to have found this studio and can’t recommend it enough.

We can’t say enough good things about Johnny Gyro Karate. Our 9 year old has been going for about 4 years and our 6 year old started about a year ago.

As parents, we really appreciate the discipline and structure the kids get from training here. Johnny Gyro has a great way of connecting with the kids and they genuinely respect him and respond really well to his teaching style. With our kids, we've seen an improvement in confidence and focus, and they're excited to keep progressing - working hard for their belts and stripes (which are earned and never given lightly).
