I've never been so incredibly impressed with an instructor, of any sort. It's been a marvelous experience with Mr. B. He's warm, patient, tailors instruction to individual needs, and his communication skills along with his teaching skills are unprecedented. His genuine investment in each student's progress creates a welcoming and motivating atmosphere. He has a strong sense of presence while making everyone feel so comfortable. His enthusiasm is extraordinary. Go see for yourself! I just wish there were instructors like him for other sports, arts, and sciences, but a parent can dream. Five stars for a top-notch karate experience.

Today is August 13th, 2022. My 10 year old son has just earned his junior black belt. If I had not witnessed his training every step of the way at Agoura Hills World Champion Karate I would not have believed a ten year old child has what it takes to be a black belt.As a devoted parent, like many of the parents I know, I wanted to help my children to find their passion and pursue it. For my son, he found himself in martial arts after taking a few classes at this studio. I think the most important reason for my son to have wanted to stay is that the owner/head instructor Mr. B has very high standards when it comes to karate skills, and my son is drawn to the challenges that are required to achieve these skills. My son has later on learned a lot more than what he came here for. It’s been over six years since he started. During this time, we have seen a lot of kids come and go, and only a handful of them have made it to the higher level. These are some of the finest young people I have ever met, who have the integrity, compassion, accountabilities, and responsibilities of the future leaders this world desperately need. If you are interested to know how they are really like and what your children may become one day, just come by the studio with them and observe some classes or book a free trial. For those who have left, I am sure they left with a lot of life skills that they will find useful in all the other things they do. Here are a few of the abilities my son has gained or improved since he started karate: memorization, fast reflex, critical thinking, and assisting classes.

We have spent over 5 years at this karate school, and I am forever grateful we found it. My daughter has gained so much self-confidence, physical strength, focus and of course martial arts skills. Mr B who runs this studio is an amazing teacher, fighter, and mentor. It is apparent from the second you step into his studio that he loves martial arts and he loves teaching kids. He teaches integrity, anti-bullying and important social emotional life skills, he expects a lot from the kids, he is very strict but fair. He really pushes the kids to be the best versions of themselves they can be. I have seen my daughter grow so much by learning how to push through her fear, Mr B's belief in her has made all the difference in how she now knows she can accomplish extremely difficult things both mentally and physically.This place is everything you want in a karate school in terms of martial arts but it's so much more than that. It is truly family. Mr B's instructors Ms Niki and Mr Simon are also skilled martial artists and great teachers and mentors. They all contribute something special in terms of skills and ways of connecting with the kids. They are teaching them all the skills they need to obtain their black belts but at the same time the kids feel very connected to a community. Before the pandemic they did monthly kids night out with tons of fun, games, ice cream, and a movie. They also organized summer camps for the past few years.

Great karate school and instruction. My son has been attending for almost a year now since he was 5, going on 6. The staff are excellent. They teach the karate skills along with lessons on focus, discipline, and hard work. It’s like watching a different kid when my son is there, paying attention and pushing himself!
