I called the salon in Williams Lake and talked to a nice young man. I told him I was from out of town and my mom was a senior. We were looking for a wash & trim only. He said, Normally you have to come in to book, but he can put us in at 1:30. I said, Awesome, we'll come a little early. We came 20 min early only to be greeted by a very loud and bossy receptionist who said there were no men working there... I explained, she said no! You can't make an apt. over the ph, no exceptions. So, we left thinking we had the wrong place. I recalled and the man answered? If you read their add, it says to call and make an apt. It is not easy to bring an older adult to an apt. especially when they are treated so poorly. I feel there should have been an apology and an exception made. It would have been a short apt., there was no customers being served and 4 people just hanging around... Please be kind to the elderly.
