We had a great weekend stay. Nice staff and location. We enjoyed the pool and restaurant attached. The room was spacious and great view. I would say in the next 2 years or even less it needs some upgrading. You could feel things have been over used and time to refresh. We'd definitely stay again!
The top floor studio apartment was very well equipped for our stay. The was a fireplace and comfortable couch, easy chair and a dining table for four. The kitchen area contained everything needed to prepare a meal. The tiny balcony (one chair) provided great views across the resort. The front of house staff were helpful and efficient. The attached Irish pub served good beer, wine and food. Valet parking was C$40 per night.
Overall, it was an okay experience. We paid extra to book a studio with a mountain view, but for the price it didn’t fully meet our expectations. The studio itself was very small, although the room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was a Murphy bed (fold-down wall bed), which I was initially unsure about, but it turned out to be comfortable. The biggest disappointment was the view. We expected much more from a “mountain view,” but it was mostly a regular view overlooking Whistler Village and the hotel pools with mountains in the background, nothing particularly impressive or outstanding.
