Laser hair removal is something I have wanted, and have considered for a very long time; however, its cost can be very prohibitive for many, and understandably, so it’s not necessarily the first hair removal option for many, even for those who might be looking for permanent hair removal results. I hate body hair, and in my quest to be free of body hair throughout most of my adult life I have shaved and epilated for many years. But I have also tried depilatory creams, and other methods, in a futile attempt to remove hair for any significant period of time (even trying so-called hair growth inhibiting gels). Like many, I also had my misgivings about laser hair removal, especially given its cost, and the potential pain this method could cause, or so I’d heard (I have a low threshold for pain). I was also concerned, and even a little skeptical, about the method’s efficacy on me as I am Asian with a naturally darker complexion, and dark coarse hair. After years of shaving and epilating (neither of which are enjoyable past times) I finally felt it was time to give laser hair removal a try. After a cursory Google search Maya Laser Clinic stood out to me; however, it wasn’t the only clinic for which I did some further research as a result. It was the clinic that resonated with me the most, so I decided to give it a try. I’m very glad I did because from my very first communication with the clinic, and with Natasha in particular, who ultimately ended up being my technician, I had all of my questions answered and any of my concerns assuaged. I promptly scheduled my first treatment session, one of three, and was pleasantly surprised when I was offered all three sessions at a discounted rate. Subsequently, I have decided to have the treatment applied to other parts of my body, and always seem to end up with a discount (I guess it’s just serendipitous that I always seemed to run into “special offers,” but it seems like this clinic has a lot of them - a boon for me). Natasha made my visits so comfortable and not intimidating in any way, always making sure the pain never exceeded my threshold (far from it), and was nothing but professional. As a male with a female technician, you can imagine how some might find the situation uncomfortable; this was not the case with Natasha. Moreover, I was so incredibly pleased with the results from the very first visit (and every visit after), and am truly amazed by the results - it’s definitely worth the money and I wish that it’s an option I had explored a long time ago. And finally, this clinic places a high emphasis on communication. All of my emails were promptly responded to by Natasha, and there has never been a paucity of appointment reminders, having received reminders for every appointment by email and text message (with links to automatically add the appointment to my calendar), so you’ll never have to worry about missing an appointment. Not only will I be back for more treatments myself, but I would highly recommend Maya Laser Clinic with my personal endorsement (and will to anyone who asks) to anyone looking for laser hair treatment, or who may have misgivings about this hair removal option.
