About Fernwood Auto Service
Fernwood Auto Service is highly regarded for its honest and helpful service. Customers appreciate the time taken to explain repairs and provide accurate assessments. One reviewer praised the service for saving $2,000 on unnecessary repairs, while another highlighted how a friendly mechanic quickly resolved a gas cap issue during a visit. The shop is known for diagnosing problems accurately, as one customer discovered that only brake pads needed replacement instead of multiple parts, saving them money. Overall, Fernwood Auto Service is recommended for its reliable service and commitment to fair pricing, making it a trusted choice for car maintenance and repairs.
I had an incident with another place of business regarding a warranty issue and went to Fernwood Auto for a second opinion. Colin was amazing in every way, he did not suggest any unnecessary repairs like the other shop was insisting and my car is running great. This shop is close home and as a new resident of Victoria I decided to take a chance on a small independent business with a solid reputation. Oil change, new battery and front end inspection were done for a fair price. Interactions were professional and easy going. I will need service again and this will be my go to. Excellent!
I highly recommend this locally owned and operated shop!
As a female vehicle owner with English as my second language, I really appreciated being treated with respect.Everything was explained clearly, in terms I understood, which made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole experience.
It is clear that Colin, the owner, genuinely cares about his customers.
It’s refreshing to find a mechanic who treats people so well and takes the time to make sure you understand what’s going on with your vehicle.
