I just had my first appointment. With a follow up already scheduled for tomorrow!! Dr. Yim is truly amazing. She is very professional and friendly and I felt very comfortable. Seeing my X-rays in real time was super cool. I’m really looking forward to healing and getting back to my old self! If you’ve been thinking of booking I highly recommend it.

Been seeing Dr. Ryan Doyle @ Backfit for over a decade to navigate my lower back issues. I now live in Scotland, but I stay in touch with questions, and I come "home" to Backfit when I visit family.
Frustratingly, I pinched my back while on tour in Canada, and I needed some care and wanted to get my x-rays updated with new information to ensure my routine is what is now needed.
After seeing Dr. Doyle (once this visit), my back is feeling much better, as he renewed my exercises, and I have been using the new fulcrums with a wobbler flat ball, and ice each day (x2) as Dr. Doyle advised after carefully reviewing my x-rays with me.
In a few days, I was able to go on a 7 HOUR motorbike ride around Duncan across the island to Port Renfrew and back through Sooke, as I had hoped to be able to do, and then the next day, I felt confident enough to rent electric Mtn bikes and I rode for 3 hours at my fav spots at Hartland!!
What a relief to get out pain free! I’m feeling pretty blessed, as I was not even walking last week — and it feels like the fulcrums, wobbler and ice are helping me get out and continue towards a renewed pain free shape, so I can progressively get back to living well again.

Over the past 8 weeks, I’ve had the privilege of working with Dr. Jeff Bartlett and his team while recovering from a disc injury, and I can honestly say they have been nothing short of amazing. I play for the UVic Women’s Basketball team, and after suffering my injury in April, I spent months trying everything I could to heal and get back on the court. Unfortunately, I struggled to find something that truly worked for me. Since starting treatment with Dr. Bartlett and his team, the results have been incredible. In just 8 weeks, I’ve gone from not even being able to run to officially returning to play.
