I danced with Miss Kim for 7-8 years and she always made her studio feel like a safe and warm place where I could be myself. She always pushed me to do my best, but did it in a way that felt reassuring and supportive. She helped me build my confidence for many years, and was always dedicated to supporting the well being of the students. I danced with Miss Kim for 6-7 years. She helped me re-find a love for dance and gave me resources to keep pushing myself. I did get to a certain point where I had to start seeking out external opportunities and other studios to keep advancing, but this happens with small studios where some may advance past the level of teaching which is offered. Even though I gradually started transitioning out of the studio, she still supported me and my endeavours.
