It's like a gaming/movies/comics/board games/toy museum. Given that this market is mostly digital now, it's nice to have a physical location exist in Vernon. I took my girlfriend here while we were waiting downtown, and she thought the shop was really cool despite not being a gamer or comic book fan. If you're here to purchase video games, yes, most games are overpriced but given the physical space they are renting it is likely a necessity versus what you find in a Buy n Sell or online. It doesn't bother me. I sold them a bunch of games twelve years ago, and am convinced a couple of those games are the copies I gave them at that time. Lots of local businesses in Vernon have shut down in recent years, but I really hope Ebenezer's can continue to stick around. It's like the Towne Cinema--tough to imagine Downtown Vernon without it.
