Engagement ring shopping can be stressful and overwhelming but that’s not at all how we felt working with Cathy! We went to a couple of jewellers before Ma Folie, but instantly felt more at ease when we met Cathy for the first time. Our favourite part about working with her was her kind and calm demeanour and beautiful private studio. We came in to look at one of her ready to ship pieces that I fell in love with via Instagram, but decided we wanted a custom version of it with a smaller diamond. Would give a higher rating if I could - the experience of purchasing a ring with Cathy was exceptional. Her attention to detail, nudges towards aiding my partner uncouver what ring she'd really love the most, and overall thoughtfulness and encouraging energy was extremely helpful in creating the perfect ring.

Beyond the initial consultation, she was super communicative as the ring was being made, with multiple check-ins to make sure it was perfect. I highly recommend working with Cathy if you want a ring unlike any other!

I first found out about Mafolie through my Instagram ads. Cathy’s excitement over colour gems was what caught my attention.
Cathy and her studio instantly made me feel comfortable. I told her about our inspo for our engagement ring (eclectic, non conventional) and throughout the process, Cathy was such a good listener and so so patient!
She held our hands throughout the whole process. It can be scary committing to a ring you’ve never seen in person, but much like our engagement, it was a commitment that paid off :) thanks Cathy!
