Recently, the transmission on my high mile 2012 GMC Sierra began to fail. Contacted Lees Transmission and was told to bring it in for a diagnosis. Jason discussed the likely problem and probable cost. Sonny did the diagnosis and road test. No surprise, my torque converter and transmission needed to be replaced/rebuilt. I needed the truck repaired quickly and Jason committed to a short repair timeline. I left the truck and got a loaner vehicle. The rebuild was completed sooner than expected and I was back on the road in no time. The estimate was exactly what I was charged. Needed to replace a transmission pan that had a relatively minor leak that a local BMW service dealer quoted over $2200 to get done. I had the same service done at Lee's Transmission for less than 1/2 what BMW wanted. I recommend these guys highly though it was a bit tough initially trying to get an assessment done to get the work done as the service coordinator was multi tasking and extremely busy as he was also scheduling work for another company they also owned in the GVA.
After I experienced the dealership’s terrible service and overpriced quote, Lee’s understood what exactly I was looking for and prioritize to have my transmission repaired. Tag presented a few options that I could pick and there was no pressure or unnecessary sales. They were honest and did their best to respond to my wishes.
