This was the second time utilizing Kearney (on 2nd Avenue, Vancouver) for their services.
Although we were assisted by a different funeral director (Jeanette on this occasion, Joanna on the previous), the service was top notch and everyone at Kearney (2nd Avenue) that we interacted with was very professional and supportive.
This included the initial calls to Kearney alerting of the impending death, to the actual request for transfer of the deceased - which was within the window as promised. Of note, the team that arrived to transfer the deceased was notably polite and efficient.
End of Life celebrations are challenging regardless, but having a safe place to land is so helpful for the family as they navigate those most emotional days. Thank you to everyone at Kearney's Funeral Services. From the pre-arranging, to the actual execution of my Mother's Funeral plans, to the days leading up to and on the final day. Every aspect was exactly what my Mother wanted and she would have been very pleased with how it all turned out. As the daughter, I was very much supported by all members of Kearney's as we walked this path over the last couple of weeks. Thank you for giving my Mother a very blessed send off. Grace

We are deeply grateful to the team at Kearney's and especially to funeral director Alex Huang for his exceptional care and compassion during the most heartbreaking time of our lives. After the sudden loss of our baby, we were overwhelmed with grief and unsure of what to do. Alex gently guided us through every step with honesty, patience, and warmth. He went above and beyond — handling all the details with professionalism while also showing genuine kindness, including picking up personal items and delivering our baby's ashes after hours. Being able to see and hold our baby one last time brought us immense comfort, and we will never forget it.
