iDance Mt Pleasant offers a wide variety of dance classes for both beginners and experienced dancers, creating a welcoming and inclusive community. The teachers provide good advice and tips, making classes fun and educational. The studio is a great space to discover and fall in love with movement, regardless of prior experience. With talented instructors, students leave feeling excited, happy, and glowing. This spot is THE spot for beginners to learn new moves, get a good workout, and have fun. The staff are very welcoming and the instructors are encouraging no matter your dance background. The location is convenient and accessible by transit. The studio is a small but very spacious studio with a WIDE variety of classes that accommodate a range of experience levels. They offer an introduction offer which allows unlimited classes for 30 days and is highly recommended. The instructors are super enthusiastic and encouraging. They have done a phenomenal job teaching the movements for different difficulty levels at open level classes. There is no judgement, even when doing less advanced movements. They also allow filming of routines during the last 5 minutes of class. Whether you’ve danced before, or are looking for a new way to exercise, iDance is highly recommended. There is such a strong and supportive community here; they cater to all levels of dance. This studio is highly recommended to everyone.
The groove classes are great for those who are not familiar with choreography but want to learn basic dance moves for real life situations (ie weddings). The open classes are more suited for those who have prior experience with learning choreography. While open classes indicate beginners are welcome, the pace is not suited for a true beginner. Also, it would be nice to have an option to opt out of being filmed.
idance is such a wonderful welcoming community for everyone! As someone with no dance experience, the unlimited 30 days for $85 is an incredible deal to try out all the classes! I will def be buying a class pass after these 30 days!
Just finished my 30 day trial which was a great way to try out a load of different styles! Lots of friendly, welcoming faces and it’s been fun to try styles with different teachers as a newbie to help find my groove. Really enjoyed the studio space, (fun older building with local artwork and ceilings for days) and the reception staff have been welcoming and helpful.
