A nightmare... I've been trying for 10 months just to get them to change my address and they are STILL mailing useless (mostly empty, nondescript and poorly formatted "statements") to my old address.US citizens have to go thru Wells Fargo in NYC to wire money (you can't wire directly), and there is no website or customer portal. It's like they are stuck in the 1980's?Every interaction is done via snail mail. Since it takes so long for snail mail to be routed, I keep getting email messages from my broker asking if I want to sell shares to cover fees for X, Y, or Z because my account is now "in the negative" for simple services. If I could have given zero stars I would have. Met James Reid from Haywood. Terrible experience and worse for my cred as persuaded friend to join me. Though moved account from Haywood, never had any of the speculation realized and currently at -60%+ from original investment. Will leave for grandkids, maybe they’ll break even. Would never trust this broker or the company again. Forgot to point out that the referral arrangement that James and I shook hands on and agreed was never honoured by James.

I had Haywood Securities in Vancouver ,buying some stocks for me a few years ago, then i made a personal decision to simply stay with the stocks i had. and do a lot of traveling. My lack of buying got my file sent to some back office next to the back door in Toronto to be handled by illusive Allan Manze who i gather from Computer notes exists in Toronto. I received a notification about five years ago that the company i was invested in was being sold and i had to fill out a form and send it to him which i did. Well that was the last i heard from him and never a dime received. I am now five years later still fuming as i have requested a and cannot even get my diminishing cash balance being now down to $123.50 instead of thousands with still no response. My story should be a warning to others.
