I absolutely adored Faye and her team. Everything was so easy and seamless, and they made myself and my girls feel absolutely beautiful. A few of us have never been this pampered in our lives, so it truly was an amazing experience. We booked early enough that we were able to secure Faye herself, along with Alice and Juliana for the day of the wedding. I had my hair and makeup trial a few months prior to the wedding date, and planned it for the same day I had a bridal boudoir booking so i was able to test the hold and wear on the hairstyle and makeup. (Which I recommend for a trial, definitely go out that night and test the waters! If anything doesn't feel right, or falls out of place, take note and let Fayes team know and they will make sure to tweak it for the day of!) At the trial, I was able to try 2 different hairstyles I was interested in, and upon seeing the second I instantly fell in love. The first style was an up-do with the second being a side braided style. Faye was able to switch so quicky between the two styles, and offered plenty of options and suggestions to help me figure out the final look. As for the makeup, I showed her a few reference pictures of what I was looking for, and she nailed it. I literally only had one minor adjustment. Up until the day of the wedding, the communication between Faye and her team was so easy and simple, literally relieved me of any stress I had while I was talking to them. When I was worried about the timing and which bridesmaid they would be working on first, they sent me a detailed schedule of what to expect on the day of, and what time each of my bridesmaids, and myself, would be sitting in the chairs for either makeup or hair. They allotted enough time at the end for any touchups, and were super patient with us while the photographer snapped some pictures of us getting ready. As I (the bride), was the only one who had the trial done, Faye and her team made sure to let my other girls know to be as vocal as they needed on the day of the wedding. Meaning, ANY small thing that the girls weren't 100% satisfied about, as long as we let them know, they would do everything in their power to fix it. My sister actually casually wiped all the foundation off her face after she got her makeup done, as she felt it was too 'heavy' and wanted it to feel lighter and it literally was no issue at all for the artists. They simply sat her back down, asked what she was looking for again and redid it. My sister literally said afterwards that she has never felt so gorgeous in her entire life. In fact, ALL of my bridesmaids were STARING at themselves in the mirrors, in shock of how beautiful they all looked. As for myself, I felt like a queen, completely pampered to the last detail. I even brought some hair accessories at the last moment that Faye was able to intertwine into my hair, making it that much more magical. The confident boost was insane, and we owe it all to Faye, Juliana and Alice. Also, they were all a blast to get ready with- we jammed to some awesome music and had a great time!! Included with the Bridal Hair & Makeup Package, I got a small touch-up kit. It came with some tissues, blotting paper, Q-Tips, eyelash glue and some lipstick. The only thing is I wish it had some foundation or powder in it as well for quick touch ups (specifically around the mouth for after dinner haha). But either way, I was honestly enjoying my wedding way to much to even bother with any touch ups. The hair and makeup for my bridesmaid was one of my gifts to them, and Faye Smith Agency offered a discount if you book for 5+ bridesmaids (non-bridal hair and makeup), so that worked out nicely. I feel like the price of the services was a great deal honestly, especially since 6 of us got our hair and makeup done (with touchups and photos) within a 4.5 hour timeline. Thank you so much for the phenomenal work you guys did, it was an amazing feeling to have- seeing all the important girls in my life feel that beautiful.
