Bootleg Barber is a gem. Tucked away in the back of the Dayton boot cobblers shop you get an immediate feeling of nostalgia when you enter the building. Rich smells of leather and wood fill the air. This was my first time in an old school barber shop since I was a kid. It met my every expectation I had. An authentic East Van styling combined with the classic vintage of an old world barber shop. Dustin was very interesting to converse with and did a grand job on my hair and beard. Complete with hot towels and straight razors you get a genuine barber shop experience.

Dustin and Shaanti are amazing!!!
Been going here for the better part of this year, their work is amazing. i loved the haircut and stache trim I got last month, feels like they keep getting better.
The shop is beautiful and its connected to the park , there’s a little Koi pond too! Kudos to Dustin for running a solid operation.

no joke I literally fly into vancouver just to get my haircut with Dustin. meaning that for at least two months when i’m out of town, my hair grows crazy lol. D is the best barber in town hands down. The skills in hair cuts, the awesome conversations and atmosphere, its been over a decade now and i’m not the only one traveling far and wide for a cut at Bootleg Barbers.
