Like other reviewers, I have been seeing Takumi for several years & followed him from ARK to this new location. The Moroccan oil scalp massage treatment is a really great way to indulge in some affordable self care. His hair washing technique is the best, a salon school should hire him to teach how to do it - he's amazing!

I come here to see Takumi for my bi-weekly Moroccan Oil Scalp Treatment. I've been seeing him for probably 4+ years now, first being at the now closed Ark Hair Spa on Robson. He's the best and you can tell he enjoys what he does. The Moroccan Oil Scalp Treatment is basically an 1.5 hour long massage in which he drops moroccan oil into your scalp and massages it in, along with a neck, shoulder, and a pressure point back massage all done in the chair. After he washes your hair he continues the massage and blow-dry and style your hair to your liking afterwards. I cannot rave enough about this as I believe he is one of the only ones in BC, if not the only one that does this kind of scalp treatment service. He is very nice and gentle and always asks if you're doing alright. You can also purchase a package where you save more and it ends up being around $23 each time if you purchase a package of 15 treatments (Reg. $50). BTW, he also cuts and colours hair and all that jazz and is amazing at it as well. So glad I followed him here from Ark Hair Spa!!! Bless him.

I see Takumi at Bliss and he's a meticulous and dedicated stylist. I have waist long hair and see him for my Moroccan Scalp Treatments on the regular between haircuts. His massages are the best and haircuts blow me away. I've been on the hunt for a stylist who understands my hair, the texture and how it sits. His cut technique is on point! If you have straight Asian hair, he's your guy.
