The Royal Canadian Legion is the number one place in town where Vetrans are respected and shown the much deserved appreciation that they deserve and the government needs to spend more money and time to honour the solders of our nation who have went out and risked their lives to keep our country and other people free from the tyranny of uncivilized nations that rely on ruthless tactics and oppression to operate. So I thank the veterans every day for the job they've done saving Canada from destruction.

I'm a new Vet to the area. I came in the other day to check out our local Legion and to let them know that all Vets get COST pricing on new vehicles at Kootenay Chrysler as a part of our corporate "Preferred Customer" program. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, I will definitely be coming by with my friends for drinks and games!

Needs more activities, and a military or veteran Coordinator/Liaison would be helpful in integration of local reservists and retirees into the membership community. Otherwise, a well run club.
