I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at Valley View. When we went last Sunday (October 5) around 2pm, a staff member told us that their main building has ALWAYS been closed on Sunday. That is blatantly not true because my family has visited on Sundays after church since 1999. For over 20 years! We have even visited when it was snowing.
A few of our relatives from Hong Kong were in town and wanted to pay respects to their sister and brother who had recently passed. I already called ahead of time to ask about the hours for the main building on Sunday and was told 3pm.
I am so confused why the staff member that day would lie to our faces like that. It was extremely unprofessional and made us feel really frustrated. It seems like she was trying to gaslight us and making us doubt when we’ve been coming to Valley View for over 25 years. That is unacceptable.

We had such a great experience with this funeral service. During one of the hardest times in our lives, the entire team showed us so much kindness, compassion, and care. They were incredibly accommodating and made sure every detail was handled with respect and understanding. Their warmth and professionalism brought us comfort and peace when we needed it most.
A very special thank you to Brigitte, Morgan, and Steven for their genuine compassion, patience, and support throughout the entire process. Your kindness truly made a difference for our family. We are forever grateful for everything you did to help us honor our loved one with dignity and love.

We had both of my parents funerals here with Henderson's and they were wonderful. Unfortunately in the process of it all my signature was forged by a family member. And now the funeral home is putting me through hell to try to prove it to even get copies of my own forged signature. This is horrible. Everything is so nice up front but behind the scenes they ignore criminal activity. They don't care once they've got your dollars. One of the women even told me that the form that was signed pertaining to my mother's remains was of no significance when it had all the significance to do with what happened with my mother's Ashes. And because My signature was forged. I don't have the Ashes. And they are not helping me. They are literally putting up a wall and making it harder for me. I am absolutely beside myself. With this treatment from Henderson's in Langley, it is devastating to have to go through this.

The entire process was stress-free and personal requests has been granted. All the staff I encountered has been courteous, caring and responsible. My mother has been taken care of very well until the end.

My late mother in law decided to prearrange her and my late father in law's funerals in 2017. She appointed my husband, who is her eldest son, to handle everything for them. We were lucky to find out Valley View Funeral Home and Cemetery, and had Tim Yu helped us through all the process since April 2017. Despite that we didn't settle down every detail, Tim didn't push us and kept on providing his service whenever we brought some concern or questions. His patience and understanding earned our trust, which led us to finally signed a contract in April 2018. My late father in law passed away during the COVID period, when everything was strictly limited. Tim made his best efforts to let family members who were abroad that could not attend the funeral in person to be part of it. His compassion made the process smoothly, thus gave us a huge relief while we were still in grief and loss. My late mother in law passed away 5 years after my late father in law. Tim was quickly respond and coordinated with our need. Again this time, Tim showed his compassion and made sure everything went well until the last stage (urn interment). We trust Tim and simply appreciate all the work he had done for us through years. Meanwhile, all the workers in Valley View Funeral Home and Cemetery are kind and generous, Elisha Duve, Tricia Keith, and those who I forgot to ask their names. They all were empathy, helped whenever and whatever they can offer based on their expertise. Over all, just wanted to say thanks to all the people (forgot to mention the gentleman who helped us during the urn interment) work in Valley View Funeral Home and Cemetery.
