WELCOME to the Royal Canadian Legion, Sooke Branch 54. Formed in 1926, the Sooke Legion has a long and successful history of supporting veterans and the surrounding communities of Sooke. In 2001 we celebrated our 75th year of service to the community. HONOURING SERVICE MEN and WOMEN Membership includes people who have served as current and former military, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, provincial and municipal police, direct relatives of members and also affiliated members. Founded in 1925 as the Canadian Legion of the British Empire Services League, it was incorporated by Parliament in 1926.
