Gorgeous place out of a fairytale. We drove by on the way from the cheese place and was curious enough to stop by. So glad we did! The plants looked happy and the pastries were delicious. Just sitting in the garden recharges your happy meter. It looks like you can book to stay here so we will keep that in mind for the future.
Gorgeous in every way. I travelled here from Ireland for The Sacred Pause Retreat with Taryn Strong and Dawn Nickel. Stowel Lake Farm is truly magical, so well cared for by the people who live and work here. The food...well I'm still thinking about it to be honest! Delicious and created with love. The barn, yoga space and accommodations are restful, comfortable, beautifully built. I can't think of one thing that I could complain about - except perhaps, that I had to leave!
One of my favourite farm stands on SSI! Fresh produce and other food items. Flower bouquets are beautiful as well. Some of my favourite items: granola, dried mangoes, farm cookie. They also carry Chill Winston and Maverick ice cream products (locally made), of which I've gotten the strawberry sorbet a number of times.
