Drove down from Alaska on the way to Tahoe a few months ago and the rear differential on my on my 05' Outback gave out just outside of Salmon Arm. Called around a bit and Stan's was the only shop in the area willing to take a look at it that day. After confirming the rear differential was the issue and the wait time for a new part was determined to be of some delay, a friend of our mechanics was willing and able to sell the rear differential off of a vehicle of his, and all work was completed by noon the following day. They also helped in deciding on what arrangements to make for the night in Salmon Arm. Great Family and a great buisness!!
Car repair shop. Overall good, was there to do alignment and swap tires for winter's. They did the works good, but wish they would tell me that alignment could not be done before swapping the tires, because in my case I had to drive home on new tires without alignment.
Others have said it. I'll add to the praise. Great service. Super friendly staff. My kid was driving from Calgary to Vancouver and has some problems in Salmon Arm. The shop took a look at the car, could easily have charged extra, or told us they couldn't look at it for 3 days, but they squeezed it into their schedule mid day, fixed what was needing fixed, and charged us a very fair rate for the work they did.
More shops should be like this. I highly recommend Stan's Auto Repair. Great service. Great staff. Fair prices.
