Sadie is a curly hair expert! She is knowledgeable for any styling questions and is thorough in making sure you leave with the perfect haircut. She is also extremely welcoming and kind, providing a warm atmosphere from the moment you walk in. I was even offered tea and cookies during my haircut. I am thankful to have found Melika Hair Salon and would recommend Sadie to anyone!

this salon is so so so beautiful, i got my hair done by sadie and she is such a nice person nice lady her service is so welcoming and she has some really interesting stories about her hair dressing journey, very very reasonable and good pricing and she is very helpful with what would go good with your hair in terms of jewelry and clothing colours. i got my hair done from a dark brown with black ends to a full blonde and brown balayage along with a haircut and i’ve never been happier with my hair, she also let me choose songs to play in the salon and we both loved it! highly recommend this place thank you sadie :) would definitely go back

Sadi is extremely professional and truly knows what she’s doing. I have very sensitive curly hair that was severely damaged and badly burned because of another hairstylist’s inexperience and lack of honesty. During a trip I took to BC, a friend recommended Melika Hair Salon to me. When I arrived and saw that the salon owner herself would be doing my hair, I immediately felt much more at ease. She first gave me an amazing haircut, and then when it came to doing the balayage, she followed many careful steps to protect and restore my hair using special treatments and products. I have rarely met someone so conscientious, respectful, and professional. My appointment started at 11:30 a.m. and continued until 9 p.m., and by the end I had beautiful, healthier-looking hair with a stunning and attractive balayage. All I can say is that Sadi is absolutely amazing! ✨

Today I got a butterfly cut, and the owner exceeded my expectations. I always go to other places and always end up frustrated, but this time I decided to give new hands a chance. She gave me such a great haircut it made me look younger. I recommend her 100 percent.

I first got my hair done at Melika Hair Salon @ Coquitlam in 2019; and since then have never gone to another. Sadie has always made me, not just, look good but more than that she’s made me ´feel’ beautiful. Sadie is such a sweet kind and generous human being; and while she’s at work we’ve enjoyed many a heart-to-heart woman conversations. Over the years, she knows my style and never disappoints. I love the ambience and simply enjoy my time at the Salon. Thank you, Sadie.

Sadi is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had in MetroVancouver. She’s incredibly kind, genuine, and has such a warm heart. At the same time, she’s very professional and always gives me exactly the style I ask for. I truly trust her with my hair and wouldn’t go anywhere else. On top of that, her prices are very fair—much more reasonable than many other places in the area. Highly recommended.
