She has gone as far as having an area rug washed and dried in 1 day as well as folded in a plastic bag when I picked it up. Penny you are amazing and wonderful! “This is my second time taking items here since moving to Port Moody and I have never met more thoughtful and kind owners.

I recently lost a little weight and had a strapless dress for an important event in two weeks - i tried the dress on and the dress no longer fit in the chest (kept falling down)

I didn’t want to change the dress too much or spend a fortune fixing it in multiple places. The owner came up with a very simple and effective solution and able to rush my order for under $40!

I had a big full bag off gross STINKY GYM CLOTHES that sat wet for weeks(??), Carlos soaked them over night and got the stink out!? I picked up my folded clothes next morning and told him I almost didn't come because of the previous owners reviews, I am SOO HAPPY I got to meet Carlos and used Labada(Philipino for Laundry:)

“The women who does the alterations is wonderful. And their prices are reasonable. I originally had gone to another place close by and that woman quoted me $85 to hem my basic made-no slip-Amazon bought-cotton dress. $85! And that was after she insulted me by telling me that hemming my dress was not in the current fashion and I didn’t know what I was doing. And she told me when I visited her in mid-July she wouldn’t be able to “fit me in” until end of Aug or Sept. 2 months to get a hem? I wound rather hem it myself with a glue gun at that point LOL. Then someone recommended New West Cleaners. And she’s done all my dresses since. AND she’s super quick. I’ve never waited more than a couple days. Yesterday she brought in and hemmed 2 dresses overnight.
The only reason I did 4 stars is because the woman who does the alterations is not in all the time- if you need her to pin the dress while it’s on you you’ll need to call ahead and make sure she’s on site.
But her work is great, reasonably priced and fast.“

“For the 21 years I've lived in Burnaby, I have gone to TUESDAY'S Dry Cleaners. I would not dream of going anywere else. They have my business for life. They are simply, THE BEST. They go above and beyond to please and get my dry cleaning/alterations back to me pronto! Although they do not have an seamstress on site, the lady who does the alterations are as professional as TUESDAY'S. I consider the owner, Rimpi, my friend and they are like family. Despite COVID and all other negative situations thrown their way, they remain the same, continuing to give the best service while also never raising their prices.
