Local hardware store for Pender Island. Under new ownership. They seem community minded and helpful. The prices at this home hardware can be a bit more than the big island. Call ahead if looking for something. They’re very helpful with getting much needed materials when you’re not able to go to the city. You can set up an account to make things easier when you have a building project. Looking forward to supporting this locally owned business.
I stopped by for a couple electrical parts that I forgot to bring from the wholesalers, and they had a decent selection of stuff. It's just the basics, but they have them!
Also, I needed some cheap lumber to use as temporary bracing, and the yard people helped me find the best price and strength ratio. It couldn't have gone better.
Well I may be biased but I love love love this store and it’s incredibly talented and knowledgeable staff. Such a broad range of items in such a compact store. They specialize in sourcing unique and highly sought after quality products in addition to their building supply lines.
