I had the pleasure of booking with Chris at Vanilla Loft, a gem of a studio tucked into the Shipyards District. From the moment I stepped through the door, both Chris and Patrick made me feel completely at ease, warm, welcoming, and full of charm.
It had been two years since my last cut, and my hair was in desperate need of serious shape. Chris took the time to talk through my lifestyle, my hair goals, and what would feel good and manageable, and he delivered the most effortless, playful, flattering, and completely livable cut.

I have been seeing Chris for about 2 years and I’ve never been happier with my hair. The perfect, lived-in beach blonde does exist! While his price point is definitely higher than most, it is well worth the experience and more importantly the results. You can go longer in-between appointments giving his focus on getting you that effortless blend. The salon is stunning and the product selection and quality outstanding. Most importantly, Chris is an absolute gem and the hours of belly laughs is an added bonus. What can I say - I’m obsessed! This is “ THE BEST “ Salon I have ever been to. Not only is Chris wildly talented, but his ocean kissed method of doing hair has me LOVING my hair more then ever. Both Chris’s and Patrick’s product knowledge is unparalleled, ensuring you leave with the perfect products for you and your hair type. I cannot recommend this amazing private, one on one salon enough!!!
