R J D Services is a trusted and reliable auto repair shop. They provide excellent workmanship, explain the required work in detail, and only recommend what's needed. The shop is honest and straightforward, never overcharging or trying to sell extra work. With a focus on saving customers money whenever possible, they have built a loyal client base, with some customers returning for over 24 years. R J D Services is a go-to shop for oil changes, brakes, and other car repairs.
Customers praise the shop's knowledgeable staff, fair pricing, and great communication. One reviewer highly recommends the place, noting that it is clearly trusted by the community due to its busy schedule. Another customer describes a "seamless experience," which is becoming harder to find in the auto industry. The owner, Russell, is commended for his mechanical expertise and ability to explain issues in simple terms. Even when a customer's vehicle had a "catastrophic failure," Russell promptly repaired it at a very reasonable price.
Russ and the team are great. They are friendly transparent and honest, they give me all of the information and education I need to empower me to make choices and balance costs. They clearly lay out the must have vs nice to have and enable me to plan in the future for upcoming needs and costs without surprises.
I have had a few time sensitive needs with trips and emergency fixes, they are always do their best to accommodate where they can. In return I always like tell them when I am in no rush so they can balance other customers needs as they have mine.
I feel looked after and so does my aging (2007) modified car.
Thanks guys.
These guys are the best on the North Shore. Super professional and honest mechanics. They will also give you honest opinion about what you should do. I brought my 2016 Subura Outback and Russ's advice was do not put more money in it. Many places around Vancouver just change parts until they find the problem or let you spend money unnecessarily.
The only issue with RJD is they are always busy. Of course this makes sense great work, fair prices and excellent customer service.
I found RJD through online group & forum recommendations - they definitely live up to their reputation. Russell was friendly and communicative. Their shop rates are also very reasonable. I’m stoked to have a great Delica tech to keep my van healthy.
