Where do I begin with my love of Padraig Cottage booties as I've called them. "Grab your padraigs, kids!" has been a regular mantra in the Elliott household. Raising the kids, we wanted to observe societal rules about shoes, but the Elliott family feet preferred space and softness and breathability.

And here is where my love of these pieces of art lies. Freedom of movement in my feet.

My kids are a bit older now. They want PS5s and tuition payments, not super amazing footwear. I get it.

Fortunately, these are not merely a children's item. They are for older humans also. My friend Nancy is who introduced me to Padraig Cottage around 2007.

These are the best slippers I’ve ever owned! They give my feet lots of space to move naturally. They keep my feet nice and warm, but not so warm that they sweat and get uncomfortable. Very good quality too!
