About ELICARE MEDICAL INC: Royal City Medical Clinic
Elicare: Royal City Medical Clinic is a healthcare facility that offers a range of services, including acupuncture, counselling, and extended healthcare direct billing. However, due to the current shortage of physicians in British Columbia and COVID-19 restrictions, the clinic operates by appointment only, with no face-to-face doctor available at the moment. Patients have expressed mixed experiences with the clinic. Some have had positive encounters, particularly with Dr. David Sung, who is described as exceptional in answering questions, making suggestions, and being patient and attentive. The clinic's location at the Royal City Mall is also noted as convenient, with ample parking. On the other hand, some patients have faced challenges in accessing the clinic, with limited appointment slots available due to the shortage of walk-in physicians. However, the clinic's staff have been praised for their helpfulness in guiding patients to alternative resources when the clinic could not accommodate them. Overall, Elicare: Royal City Medical Clinic appears to be navigating the current healthcare challenges in British Columbia, offering a range of services and striving to provide quality care to its patients, despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic and physician shortages.
I had a very disappointing experience at Eli Care Walk-In Clinic.

To make the appointment, I had to ask for permission to leave work early and left at 2:30 PM so I could arrive on time. I checked in at 3:00 PM and was taken to an examination room, but then I was left waiting. After waiting until 3:40 PM, I was informed that the doctor was still seeing another patient.

Had an appointment at 3:40 and waited an hour and a half for them and if I didn’t went up and talked to the receptionist I feel like they would have made me wait longer, and it took another 10-15 mins for the doctor to came. Doctor was nice but I don’t know if it’s worth waiting this long.
They screw up on booking your appointment time after time. The receptionist at the front barely speak a word of English. I had to ask for multiple different people just so I could understand what they were saying because their accents were so strong. And even after that, they could barely understand what I was saying in English.
