I had an issue with my iPhone that I couldn’t use my cell data for a few weeks. I explained to the gentleman at the counter that I went to my carrier who told me there was no problem with the SIM card and that the phone has an issue. So I checked with the repair shop in Victoria who opened up the phone to check where the problem was and told me he couldn’t fix it and suggested to buy a new phone. I was hoping that the Repair Factory could help me keep the phone since the phone itself has no other problems. I thought about this shop as I plugged my phone in tonight. My usb port seemed clean, I'd even picked things out with a toothpick and several metal picks, but it still didn't have that "snap" feel like they have when new. For $10 one of the (blatantly) expert techs at The Repair Factory put my phone's usb port under a microscope, and carefully renewed the entire interior port zone somehow, which still performs like new to this day, like 5 months later. I'm actually a tech myself and am totally embarrassed to admit I have zero clue how he did what he did. I recently got my Samsung phone fixed in here. They were on time did the repair and even the after checking in. Polite and honest staff. Very affordable cost and trustworthy service. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs it. Good to have u guys in Kootenays.
