I took my son to see Dr. Shah. It was a great relief to know I didn’t have to wait 4 months (that’s the wait time to see the podiatrist at the Caledonian clinic).
He was very friendly, great bedside manner and helped my son to feel less stressed about the visit. He explained what he was doing and the options for this treatment. He gave us instructions, advised us about orthotics and proper footwear and gave us a prescription.
Also, the consultation was more affordable than the other podiatrist (since this is not a MSP expense).
The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful.
I moved from another province and had previously only had negative experiences with podiatrists. Dr. Shah was very thorough with me and walked me through my options. I also had assistance from the nail technician to dremel my nails. As someone who has experienced foot trauma and other issues, I'm so glad I came here.
Second time having an ingrown toenail surgery with Dr Shah, which went as well as it could go. I do believe this surgery should be covered under MSP, but nothing you can do about that. Dr Shah was extremely caring, talkative and quick with his job. Recovery information was provided and I can tell he cares about his patients. He made this process way less painful than the one I had back in Ontario. Will recommend.
