I lost my leg in an auto accident, thanks to Brian and his team I am able to regain my mobility and active lifestyle, and enjoy the great outdoors again. My dog is also super happy we get to go on epic adventures.
I've been hobbling around with a dictus brace and a cane for foot drop for over 2 years now. Getting around had been difficult. I could not carry things with one hand on a cane and the other without any strength. Even walking and holding a coffee was next to impossible. it's been just over 24hrs since my visit to BD Mitchel to pick up my foot orthosis and it has quite literally changed everything. I move about with confidence, I might even be able to walk as fast as my wife again. These folks are fantastic, professional and friendly so don't hesitate, you might be as amazed as I am:)
I started coming here way too late, I wish I would have listened to surgeons & others sooner but I didn’t. Originally I came in to help my fused ankle with a brace but ended up needing braces on both. From a decade of compensating after an ankle shatter I have compounding issues & recently had to get both braces redone & the knee added to one of them. I have had too many surgeries to count on both ankles, one for tendon/ligament & the other multiple breaks.I can without a doubt say I am still walking because of Vincent & he is a miracle worker when it comes to thinking outside the box. I get to continue doing what I love because of people like Vincent who keep me mobile after a shatter that nearly took my ankle & I am grateful!!! Photography is what fuels my passion for life & pain has taken a lot from me but luckily with these braces I can do uneven ground required to do what I love!!!
