Holy crap!!! I will recommend Peter until the day I die.
I came to him on my last leg with my pup. She’s my first dog and came from a not so great home. I have worked with her lots since I brought her home but wasn’t sure where to even start. I found Peter and he gave me a thorough consultation over the phone and was very blunt with me. Which I needed.
My dog was dog reactive, people reactive, pulled on her leash. I only felt comfortable taking her out early morning or late late at night. Forgive the long post, but I wanted to share our amazing experience with Peter from Action K9.
We have a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix who we rescued at 8 weeks old. From day one, we struggled with recall, confidence, and walking. She learned the basics (sit, down, wait, leave it) through positive reinforcement, but outside of that, things were tough.
She wouldn’t go to the bathroom in public, wouldn’t take treats outside the house, was sometimes reactive (especially toward men), and completely refused to walk around the neighborhood — she’d pull, stop, or whip her head in the opposite direction. It was stressful and... read full review

I can't say enough good things about Peter from Action Services. He's exactly the kind of instructor was hoping for, straightforward and honest, without any sugarcoating. He truly leads by example; we saw a dramatic shift in our dog, Banchan, in just one session. Banchan went from being reactive to calm, and while we still have a follow-up, the difference is already incredible.
Peter's training philosophy makes so much sense. He uses a balanced approach to training, which has proven to be incredibly effective.
