Lumby Truck & Car Wash is a car wash in Vernon. It offers strong water pressure and plenty of soap for a thorough clean. Customers can use a tap for extra rinsing. The car wash has an open bay suitable for large vehicles. It is located near a grocery store, bakery, and coffee shop. The car wash is open-air, which can be great in summer but challenging in winter.
I drove my Subaru forester in here for a quick wash which turned into a full detail. The amount of dirt that came out of her wheel wells & under carriage was incomprehensible. All because the soap / water pressure that came out of the spray wand was excellent. The foam brush oozed out soap like it owed me something which was another great surprise compared to most other wash bays. I then gave her a rinse followed by a nice wax & rainex which left her just sparkling & smiling in the sun. After all that she drove outta there looking brand new.
I was expecting to pay more money than I did in the end. Very reasonable compared to any other wash bays I’ve ever been to.
While driving through Lumby in late September 2024, I discovered this well-maintained 2-bay car wash. The cost for an extensive wash of a very dirty vehicle was reasonable. The water pressure was excellent, and the water temperature was just right: quite warm and effective at removing dirt, mud, and grime, especially with the high water pressure. There was plenty of soap coming out of the wand as well as the foaming brush. The rinse cycles were good and, overall, this was a great car wash.
I was very pleased with how my vehicle looked after using this car wash, which I would visit again without any hesitation.
