Shortly after my initial feedback, the owner, David, personally called me to apologize for the errors and the frustration my wife and I experienced. He took full responsibility for his team’s mistakes and, as a gesture of goodwill, issued a full refund for the services. He also agreed to thoroughly follow up with CRA on my paper file and any penalties/interest that may occur in future due to this will be covered by him.

While the initial tax filing process was quite stressful and required multiple visits to the office, I truly appreciate David’s proactive approach to making things right. It is rare to see a business owner step up in this way to ensure customer satisfaction. This level of accountability and customer service has significantly improved my perception of the agency.

I appreciate the effort taken to resolve this.

Review of 28/4/2026: I would have given a 0 rating if there was one based on my experience with this agency. Below is my experience.

I recently moved to Canada and needed help filing my 2025 income tax. Based on the positive Google reviews and their location in Langley, my wife and I decided to go with Image Accounting.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.

Ms. Sandy Sharma handled our tax filing. However, after the initial submission, I had to visit their office two additional times to correct errors made in my return. Even now, I am not confident that everything has been handled properly.

In my very first year in Canada, my return was incorrectly filed in a way that showed I owed more than $700 to the CRA. I had specifically asked multiple times whether the filing was accurate, as I had read on the CRA website that new immigrants may be eligible for certain benefits. Only later did Ms. Sharma acknowledge that mistakes had been made and that the return needed to be refiled.

This required me to take additional time out of my schedule and revisit the office. During the follow-up, when we asked questions for clarity, the responses were impatient and not reassuring.

We later spoke with David from the same office to better understand the situation. Soon after, we were informed that the second filing was not accepted by the CRA and that a paper filing would now be required — leading to a third visit.

Throughout this process, I found that Ms. Sharma was unable to clearly answer several of my questions and often redirected me to David. This raises serious concerns about how confidently and accurately my taxes were handled, especially considering the sensitive nature of financial information.

Overall, this experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and stressful — particularly as a newcomer trying to navigate the system.
