“After I retired, I thought I’d like to take piano lessons. I had never played a musical instrument and couldn’t read music. I started on some lessons but didn’t enjoy them and didn’t feel like the methodology suited me because I wasn’t absorbing anything. I was very disappointed in myself and gave it up.
A few years went by, and I decided to give it another go. That’s when I found Michelle. Wow. What a find. Now I’m loving it. She’s a wonderful instructor – knowledgeable, organized, and always encouraging. After just nine lessons I feel like I’ve learned so much already and I truly enjoy practicing. It’s motivating to be able to read music for the first time and make sense of it as I play. As a former educator, I can recognize and appreciate how superbly and effortlessly Michelle applies her instructional skills. In my opinion, Michelle is an outstanding piano teacher. She’s also a lovely person. I’m having fun.“
