Several months ago I asked Houle Electric for a quote for 7 small electrical jobs I needed done at my house. I gave them very detailed instructions on what I needed done and included very descriptive photos. A man named Geoff responded with a quote for $9,300. I was shocked. The quote had no breakdown on parts or labour. I recently hired a private electrician and he completed the jobs for a little over $2,000. So if you are a residential home owner, do not hire this company or else they will take you to the cleaners. In my 30 years in this city, I have never received such deplorable service! Shame!!!
I have spoken to a number of folks, both at the office in Victoria and here in Kelowna, and everyone was great. We had alarm issues stemming from internet issues, and had a tech by the name of Mike come out to try and resolve the situation. He arrived early, had a pleasant disposition (despite the awful weather outside) and was able to fix the problem. I am delighted with the level of service and knowledge the staff has.
First time using Houle. Excellent service, from Jen at the front desk to Michael, the electrician who installed a chandelier for us. Will look to Houle in the future for our electrical needs!
