Wendy Puttick owner of Discover Music Studio is best music teacher I have ever had the privilege of working with. My daughter Kayla started with her at age 5 and my other daughter Arianna started at age 6 and both learned to play little jingles in a matter of weeks. The music for young kids program that she uses is well structured and allows you to track your child's progress. You are kept accountable with weekly homework to reinforce what was taught and parent and child can learn at the same time. I’m so happy I found Ms Wendy and the team at Discover Music Studio. It’s so much more than piano lessons for our young daughter. It’s learning and appreciating all aspects of music - from using fun interactive critters to learn the musical notes - to teaching them techniques on how to compose and play their own compositions - to interactive fun stories appreciating the composers of the past.It’s such a well structured parent participating program that makes learning piano fun and we can’t wait for what’s in store for us next year!
Wendy went above and beyond to ensure that her lessons were accessible to all audiences. Our participants had a blast getting to sing along, learn, and play instruments each week. Her flexibility and style of instructing allowed for all participants to remain engaged throughout the lessons.
