Our van broke down on the long weekend in the middle of nowhere with no cell reception in Kootenay National Park. Some good samaritans came to our rescue. Sue and Darryl. Total strangers. Also total saints. We gave them our keys. They sent us off on our three day hike and said they'd look after things. They contacted Kool Country who found our BCAA number and managed to tow us and fix the issue even though it was the long weekend. Did all the work on trust... we gave them our credit card number after the fact. And our vehicle was ready on Labour Day Monday. I'd give you six stars if I could. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

We had the frustrating experience of towing our trailer to Windemere Lions Campground. We parked and set up, then spent the day in Invermere. That evening, we went to the public beach for the sunset, and the truck wouldn't start when it was time to leave! BCAA hooked us up with Kool Country towing, and the driver, Josh Page, was more than accommodating. Kool Country and Walkers Automotive worked through the weekend to get the starter on a truck from Calgary and deliver my truck on Sunday! Many koodos to the two businesses for their emwork on this!

So grateful for this company. Our truck had a fuel pump problem so ran out of fuel at a quarter tank and had to use our satellite phone to get help. Man came promptly and saved the day. We are now on our way!
