I hope this place stays open because it's the only spot that we can have any remembrance of our forefathers who sacrifice their souls and fought for our country and fought for our freedom and it's a big sacrifice for mankind so I do have gratitude for this building for its existence and what they represent and how they help our community by showing respect for these people who done a great sacrifice for our nation.

Local Branch #109 Gibsons, BC chapter of the Royal Canadian Legion. This local legion continues the national mandate of aiding veterans and first responders within the community. To support our mandate we have our lounge and kitchen open to members and guests as well as a hall for rent for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, banquets and celebration of life. The Gibsons Legion is involved in many sponsorship's, awarding funding/scholarships and raising moneys for charitable causes as well. It's a great organization to join, visit, meet friends enjoy beverages/entertainment.
