I cannot recommend Makiko enough. This was my second time having my hair cut by her, the first being around 5 years ago. Not only did she remember me from my previous visit, but she also remembered the difficult health challenges I was going through at the time. She was so incredibly lovely, celebrating how far I’ve come and all of my recent health wins. Sitting in her chair felt like a fun therapy session, we had a great laugh and her warmth made me feel so supported. On top of being a lovely human, she is a fantastic stylist.
