​Not only did she remember me from my previous visit, but she also remembered the difficult health challenges I was going through at the time. She was so incredibly lovely, celebrating how far I’ve come and all of my recent health wins. Sitting in her chair felt like a fun therapy session, we had a great laugh and her warmth made me feel so supported.
​On top of being a lovely human, she is a fantastic stylist. After losing my hair to illness, it grew back entirely curly, which was a brand new texture for me to navigate. Makiko took the time to help me understand my new curls and taught me how to work with them. She listened perfectly and did exactly what I wanted with the cut.“
