Cowitan is a welcoming tanning salon known for its clean and roomy stand-up bed, while its lie-down bed is described as legendary. Customers appreciate the friendly service and the shop's inviting atmosphere, often greeted by a friendly shop dog. In addition to tanning, Cowitan offers a variety of swimwear, sunglasses, and fun accessories. Their new jungle room features an infrared sauna, making it a unique experience for friends to enjoy together.
I don’t know about you guys, but when I go somewhere and not only is the service OUTSTANDING, but the entire experience is second-to-none, I walk away SO HAPPY! Speaking of happy, as someone who works in mental health, I can speak to the reality of seasonal affective disorder (SAD), and the benefits of light therapy! Hello serotonin regulation and vitamin D boost! This place literally has it all, not a single detail in creating the overall pleasant experience was missed! Beachballs, lei’s aplenty, upbeat music, lights and atmosphere create a place where happiness and relaxation surrounds you! The beds are ultra-luxurious. I’ve personally never been in a tanning bed that felt so spacious. It literally felt like a warm-hug! A short stint to my own, private tropical paradise! A quick escape from the day-to-day grind! I have absolutely loved my experience with Cowitan, it’s certainly has been the highlight of my day! 🌴 🏝 🌊 🌸 🌺

Cowitan is an authentic beach tanning salon that includes a beautifully designed store front with great products! Both my husband and I found swim suits we love! I actually found 3 so I’ll be back for 2 more! We were very impressed with the size ranges and designs of the beach wear! Worth the quick drive up from the westshore! Thanks Cowitan for a great experience.
