In June of 2025 I attended my first Crossfit class after some encouragment from another member. I had a basic understanding of what I thougt Crossfit was and as some one over 60 I didn't see it as being for me, but I was proven wrong. I only recently discovered this place and I was apprehensive at first. I need not have worried - it is the friendliest, most supportive group of people, including coaches! Such a wide variety of ages and abilities attend and really, if you know you need to get strong, build muscle, improve balance, grow self-esteem, and connect, then try it. Show up and start where you are. Everything is scalable ??

I joined Constant Conditioning a few weeks ago, and honestly, I didn’t know what to expect. I’m pretty new to fitness and was nervous to try something totally out of my comfort zone, but everyone here has been so encouraging and down to earth. The coaches push you just the right amount — supportive but not babying. The workouts are tough (in a good way!) and the atmosphere is so positive and fun. It really feels like I found a hidden gem in the Comox Valley, part of me wants to tell everyone about it, and part of me wants to keep it all to myself!
