So glad we brought our puppy Colbi to Cowichan Canine! We did puppies start right and pet manners with Stef and it gave us a very strong foundation for force free positive reinforcement training + socialization for our boy. Stef was wonderful! We were having some concerns after these courses and requested additional direction and we met with Lisbeth for a consultation. She was wonderful as well and helped us hone in on what the best steps were to help our pup thrive. We are still working on training everyday as it is our lifestyle now and I can't thank or recommend Cowichan Canine enough! Having done the puppy classes and now the Pet Manners has made such an impact on both me and my sweet/crazy lab puppy
I highly recommend to anyone looking for support and guidance when it comes to training. I love their philosophy on the best way to train, and I can say it has worked for us!
We cannot say enough great things about Cowichan Canine staff and programming. Due to an unexpected work assignment we needed to find a dog trainer in a new area for our challenging rescue dog. The team at Cowichan Canine provide the most thorough instruction, while taking time to make sure that all grey areas are fully explained and demonstrated. There's lots of time built in for questions and challenges, and the environment is fun and friendly. I wish we had more time in the area to take continuing classes, but we got amazing benefits from the one that we were able to fit into our schedule.
